Complaint for Sexual Harassment Against WTOP Radio Filed

The Kamerow Law Firm, along with the Silver Spring law firm of Zipin, Amster & Greenberg, recently filed a Complaint in the D.C. Superior Court against Hubbard Radio Washington DC, LLC d/b/a WTOP Radio.  The Complaint alleges that the lawfirm's client started working as a traffic reporter at WTOP in January 2017, and that beginning in February 2017 until April 2017, she was repeatedly subjected to verbal and physical sexual harassment by an employee of WTOP.  The harassment continued until the client was no longer able to cope with the sexual harassment and was forced to resign her position.  The lawsuit alleges violations of the District of Columbia's Human Right Act and Wrongful Retention, Training and/or Supervision by WTOP.  The lawsuit asks for lost back pay, reinstatement, front pay, compensatory damages, as well as $3 million in punitive damages.  The defendant has removed the case to the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.  The Washington City Paper has a good article on the case: https://www.washingtoncitypaper.com/news/city-desk/blog/20989471/former-wtop-reporter-files-sexual-harassment-lawsuit-against-station
